Day 4 - The adventure goes on in Córdoba

To start the day, we visited the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba which impacted us due to its beauty and magnitude. This temple was declared a World Heritage Historical Site by UNESCO and it's the most visited monument in the city thanks to its historic minaret, the Patio de los Naranjos and the prayer room. We also passed by the Roman bridge of Córdoba where we had the opportunity to enjoy the view of Guadalquivir river. After that, we tasted typical Spanish dishes at the Tabersus Mezquita tavern. During the day, we visited several famous streets of both historical and religious content, namely the Patio Cordobeses and La Judería. At the end of the day we had dinner at the Doble de Cepa tavern, where we enjoyed a beautiful flamenco performance.

CÓRDOBA, DONDE NACE LA VIDA

Flor de azahar,

aroma de primavera.

Andares dibujados en claros de luna

caminan por La Ribera,

de Romero de Torres, La Piconera.

Córdoba...

reina del Guadalquivir,

donde las agua cantam por bulerías,

donde los chiquillos hablan de amores

perdidos entre callejones de la judería.

Córdoba...

allí donde el sol de mayo suspira,

allí donde nace la via.
